It was just a couple of years ago when Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, received the heart-wrenching news that their five-year-old son Noah had been diagnosed with liver cancer. But now, with Noah in remission, the 43-year-old singer has found inspiration to return to the music world after taking a break to focus on his family. He’s ready to create "something beautiful," and fans are eagerly anticipating what's coming next.
On November 16, Michael, 43, appeared on the ITV television show Loose Women, where he sat down to talk about his family's current state and his exciting new music ventures.
A Journey Through Challenges and Triumphs

Michael reflected on his family's harrowing journey, saying, “I think everyone knows what my family has gone through; it was obviously an incredible and heavy time. Once my kid was okay and my family was trying to move forward and heal, I just felt that there were so many moments when I looked out into the world and thought, honestly, there’s so much division and fighting. I surely didn’t want to add to the negativity.”

"I’ve been blessed with a deep love for music, and I’m incredibly grateful for the compassionate support my family received during our tough times. I wanted to create something beautiful that people could connect with—something they could laugh to, cry to, or even make babies to," Michael continued. "You can't control the good and bad days, but you can control how you make other people feel."
Creating 'Love' Amidst Life's Trials

Michael described his latest album, titled Love, as his "most honest" work to date. He admitted, "I hate how much the honesty cost me. A lot of these songs are about the light and dark sides of love. That word love comes with pain, suffering, and sometimes even violence. It’s strange, you know, to release a record. You work so hard on it, like preparing for a dinner party where you’ve cooked everything perfectly, added the garnish, and within minutes it's all gone. That’s the difference between me now and before. I realize I cannot control how people feel."
Back to Music and Touring
Michael is gradually making his way back to the music scene. Not only is the album Love set to drop on November 16, but he's also announced a massive 36-date world tour. But most importantly, Michael and his family are thrilled to know that Noah is healthy and thriving. This chapter marks not just a return to the stage for Michael but also a celebration of his family's resilience and strength.
