Alright, let's dive right in. Now, I don't want to sound all cliché here (though let's be honest, sometimes clichés are just too good to pass up), but it seems like Pixar's Toy Story 4 is truly going to be something extraordinary. This could very well be the final chapter in the beloved series, and both Tom Hanks and Tim Allen have been opening up about just how tough it was to record that emotional ending. It's like they're saying goodbye to an old friend, and let me tell you, that's not easy.

Tom Hanks Talks About Saying Goodbye to Woody
On Britain’s Chris Evans’ Breakfast Show, Tom Hanks opened up about the emotional experience of recording the final scenes of Toy Story 4. At 62 years old, he’s no stranger to delivering heartfelt performances, but this one hit close to home. “It was the first time we were going to be recording the end of the movie,” Tom recalled. “And let me tell you, Toy Story 4 is going to have an ending that will leave an impact. You see, the way we record Toy Story is unique. We’re all in a room together with the entire team that’s created this magic. When it came to my last day, I wanted to have my back to them. Why? Because usually, you face each other so you can discuss the lines and the emotions. But this time, I didn’t want them to see me crying, and I didn’t want them to see me pretending I wasn’t. When I realized what they were going for with the ending, I knew this was a moment in history. A moment that would resonate with fans worldwide.”

Tim Allen Shares His Emotional Journey with Buzz Lightyear
Meanwhile, over on CBS’ The Talk, Tim Allen echoed similar sentiments. At 65 years old, Tim has been Buzz Lightyear for a long time, and it’s clear this role means a lot to him. “Let me tell you, this movie is so emotional, so funny, and the ideas they’ve come up with are just mind-blowing,” Tim said. “I was absolutely startled. I thought Toy Story 3 was amazing, but this? I couldn’t even get through the last scene. A couple of the scenes toward the end were really hard to get through. It’s like saying goodbye to an old friend, and it’s not easy.”
