Let’s talk about Viola Davis and her candid moments on The Tonight Show. You know how dieting can sometimes feel like climbing a mountain? Well, Viola Davis shared her experience with just that. During a recent episode, she opened up about a diet suggestion from her makeup artist for the movie Widows. The idea was to "cleanse" her body, but it turned out to be more challenging than she anticipated. After just two days, Viola admitted she was becoming an angry person, which isn’t exactly the vibe anyone is looking for when trying to improve their health.

The Breaking Point
Despite her initial enthusiasm, Viola hit her breaking point sooner than expected. It happened when her niece called her at the wrong time. She was relaxing in the jacuzzi one day when the phone rang. Viola joked, “I was like, why the hell are you doing that?” Her patience was thin, and her niece’s call pushed her over the edge. She realized she couldn’t continue with the cleanse and decided to call it quits after just two days. She told Jimmy Fallon, “We had to do it for 28 days. I lasted for two.”

After throwing in the towel, Viola went straight for the juiciest burger she could find in her house and made a quick stop at McDonald’s. She wasn’t about to miss out on her favorite comfort foods. And since the diet forbade alcohol, Viola decided to break that rule too. She confessed, “
