Nicole Kidman Shares Her Daughters’ Candid Fashion Critiques
In a candid conversation with Tatler Magazine, Nicole Kidman revealed that her toughest critics might not be the ones you'd expect—they're her daughters, Sunday, 9, and Faith, 7. During her illustrious 35-year career, Nicole has faced her fair share of opinions from the outside world. But nothing compares to the honest feedback she gets from her pint-sized fashion police. “My youngest will tell me, ‘Please don’t wear your workout clothes to school this morning. Please blow-dry your hair. Please wear some makeup,’” Nicole laughed, adding, “That’s a hard truth right there!”
At 51, Nicole finds joy in these critiques because, as she told Magic FM, “Children keep you young. There’s something pure and truthful about their energy. They keep you engaged and bring so much joy to life.” While the remarks might seem like a challenge, Nicole sees them as a reminder of her daughters' growing independence and their unique perspectives on the world.

Staying Healthy for Her Family
Nicole and her husband, Keith Urban, 50, welcomed their daughters later in life, which means staying healthy and vibrant is a top priority for Nicole. "I want to be able to take care of them," she shared with Tatler. "That’s a big part of it when you have children when you're older." Nicole's focus isn't just on her career but on ensuring she’s present and capable of giving her girls the love and care they deserve.
A Journey to Motherhood
For Nicole, motherhood has always been a dream, though it wasn’t always smooth sailing. She opened up about the heartbreak she and her first husband, Tom Cruise, endured after she experienced an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage. Despite these challenges, the couple adopted Isabella Cruise, 25, and Connor Cruise, 23. “Whether you’re an adoptive mother, a foster mother, or a biological mother,” Nicole emphasized, “it’s the emotion of attaching to a child and guiding them that truly matters.”
Now, her daughters with Keith help Nicole stay grounded amidst the pressures of her career. "There’s nothing better than walking through the door after a tough day and being brought back to earth by the demands of your family," she said. "Even when I feel like I can’t go on, I have two little girls asking, ‘What’s for breakfast?’ That’s a gift for me." Nicole finds solace and purpose in her family life, which keeps her balanced and inspired.
