Hey There, Let’s Talk About the Trumps and Their Relationship
Listen, folks, we’ve all seen the headlines—President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump are either the picture-perfect couple or they’re on the brink of a split. But guess what? It’s time to take a step back and give these two some space. According to recent reports, the Trumps are simply private people who don’t feel the need to put their relationship on display for the world to see.
A recent article from the Washington Post shed some light on the matter, revealing that the speculation about their marriage might be way off base. It seems like the couple isn’t exactly in the midst of a rocky relationship—they’re just not into public displays of affection. As Melania’s longtime friend, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, put it, “She is a dignified, private person, and she’ll deal with her personal life in private and it’s no one’s business.”
Why Melania Trump Isn’t into PDA
Stephanie went on to explain that Melania has an old-world European mindset, which means she doesn’t believe in holding hands or showing affection in public just for the sake of appearances. "They are not that couple that holds hands just because; she is old-world European and it’s not who she is," Stephanie added. This gives us a clearer picture of Melania’s personality and how she approaches her personal life.

But here’s the thing—some might argue that the couple doesn’t spend a whole lot of time together. The Washington Post article suggested that Melania, 48, and Donald, 71, often go their separate ways, even during their free time. “The Trumps are often apart even during their free time, according to several people who know the couple’s schedules,” the Post reported.
To elaborate, “At Mar-a-Lago on holidays and weekends, the president golfs or dines with politicians, business executives, and media personalities on the patio, while Melania is often nowhere to be seen. According to several current and former aides, the president and first lady often do not eat together in the White House either.”
Setting the Record Straight
However, Melania’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, offered a different perspective. She insisted that aside from the president’s solo trips, the family spends most evenings together. “Melania is focused on being a mom. She’s focused on being a wife, and she’s focused on her role as first lady. And that’s it. The rest is just noise,” Stephanie clarified.
