Is Clint Eastwood Really in Perfect Health?

Let’s talk about Clint Eastwood, a Hollywood legend who’s still going strong as he approaches his 88th birthday. This guy isn’t just active; he’s thriving. In fact, if you look closely, you won’t find a single credible report of Clint even catching a cold in recent years, let alone anything serious. But here’s the kicker—some shady websites tried to convince people that Clint had passed away. Yeah, you read that right. Fake news is everywhere, and it’s ridiculous.

Take this so-called "news" site called CNN-GlobalNews.com, which looks eerily similar to the real CNN website. They claimed that Clint Eastwood suffered a fatal heart attack at his LA home back in June 2017. But guess what? It was all fabricated. These clickbait artists even made up a statement from Tom Hanks, Clint’s co-star in the movie Sully. According to the fake report, Tom supposedly said, “I am lost for words. Some people you just assume will be with you forever. #ClintEastwood.” Sounds pretty convincing, right? Except none of it was true.

Now, let’s rewind to a time when Clint actually faced a life-or-death situation. Back in the early 1950s, during his military service, Clint found himself in a harrowing plane crash that could have ended his life—and his Hollywood career before it even started. Clint recounted this chilling story during a talk with Loyola Marymount University's School of Film & TV students in 2015.

He described the incident in vivid detail, saying, “Everything went wrong. The radios failed, the oxygen ran out, and eventually, we ran out of fuel near Point Reyes, California. We ended up ditching the plane in the ocean. It was late October or November, and the water was freezing cold. Years later, I found out it was a white shark breeding ground, but I’m glad I didn’t know that at the time. I might have freaked out and drowned from sheer panic.”
