Hey there, friends! I want to share an update with you about Hilaria Baldwin, the mom of four who’s been going through a bit of a rough patch lately. If you’ve been following her journey, you know she recently welcomed her baby boy, Romeo, into the world. But life has thrown her a bit of a curveball. Hilaria took to Instagram to share that she’s battling pneumonia after the birth of her precious newborn. "It’s been quite an adventurous week with highs and lows… Romeo was born last Thursday and is a complete joy… however, I was also diagnosed with pneumonia," Hilaria, 34, wrote in a heartfelt caption alongside a sweet photo of herself with baby Romeo.
Hilaria Baldwin Opens Up About Family Illness
Alec Baldwin’s wife isn’t the only one under the weather. She shared that her three older children—daughter Carmen, 4, and sons Rafael, 2, and Leonardo, 1—are also dealing with their own set of health challenges. "Rafa and Leo have the flu, and Carmen came home from school with pink eye. It's been tumultuous to say the least, and, for a family that rarely gets sick, definitely a foreign experience. But don’t worry, we’re all on the mend, and fortunately, so far, Romeo is super healthy," she wrote on Instagram. Can you even imagine? Talk about a whirlwind week for the Baldwin family.

Adjusting to Life with a New Family Member
Hilaria continued by sharing just how tough it’s been getting their new family-of-six oriented. "It’s been tough getting everyone adjusted with all of the necessary quarantining. The recovery from birth, the beginnings of breastfeeding again, the sleepless nights, taking care of sick toddlers, doctor visits, and my own health… I just keep on saying 'we got this,'" she explained. "I have definitely had my stressed out moments and have had to practice lots of breathing and perspective, trying to stay as calm and positive as possible. I’m looking forward to renewed health for my family, and one day, to look back and have a little laugh." Who can blame her? It sounds like she’s doing an incredible job under the circumstances.
Updates on Hilaria's Family Health
A few days later, Hilaria returned to Instagram to share a health update with her more than 330,000 followers. "Update on my sick clan… getting better and better. I shower like a million times a day, going in between the big kids and Romeo," she captioned a video of herself breastfeeding little Romeo. Talk about multitasking! Hilaria and Alec, 60, welcomed their third son, Romeo, on Thursday, May 17. "He’s here! He’s perfect! 8lbs 2oz," the yoga instructor captioned a sweet snapshot of herself and Alec cuddling the newborn at the hospital. They had announced they were expecting in November 2017, and soon after, shared it was a boy with a sweet gender reveal cake. We’re all rooting for the Baldwin clan to feel better sooner than soon!
