Let’s take a moment to catch our breath because there’s so much happening in the royal world right now. A new prince has arrived, another royal baby is on the way (we’re keeping an eye on you, Zara Tindall), there’s not one but two royal weddings coming up, and to top it all off, a major move has just taken place.
According to People, Princess Eugenie and her fiancé, Jack Brooksbank, have officially moved into Kensington Palace. Here’s the kicker—they’re now neighbors with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Talk about a royal neighborly vibe!
Settling Into Ivy Cottage
Princess Eugenie, who turned 28 this year, and her fiancé, Jack, a wine merchant, have moved into Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace. This charming residence features three bedrooms, which is one more than the cozy Nottingham Cottage where Harry and Meghan reside. Ivy Cottage marks the first shared home for the couple, adding another layer of excitement as they prepare for their wedding later this year.

Neighborhood Vibes at Kensington Palace
Before making the move to Kensington Palace, Princess Eugenie lived with her older sister, Princess Beatrice, at St. James Palace. Now, she’s joined by a close-knit group of royals in her new neighborhood. Prince William and Kate Middleton, along with their growing family, reside in Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace. And don’t forget Queen Elizabeth’s cousins! Can you imagine the epic street parties they must have around there?
Eugenie, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, recently shared the magical moment when Jack proposed to her during a holiday in Nicaragua. It’s moments like these that remind us how human even the most regal among us can be.

In their first-ever joint TV interview at Buckingham Palace, Eugenie and Jack spoke with The One Show's Matt Baker about the special moment. “The lake was so beautiful, it was a special light, and I even said ‘this is an incredible moment’ and then he popped the question, which was really surprising even though we had been together seven years,” Eugenie shared. “It was the perfect moment because we knew it was going to end up this way. I was over the moon, crying.” Eugenie looked stunning in a recycled floral Erdem dress during the interview.
Following in the footsteps of Harry and Meghan, Eugenie and Jack will tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle this October. It’s shaping up to be a royal wedding season to remember!
