Well, folks, it seems like Hillary Clinton just can't catch a break these days. The former presidential candidate has been having quite the adventure in India, but unfortunately, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. During a recent visit, Hillary fractured her wrist, leaving her unable to gesticulate as emphatically as she might like during any upcoming speeches. And guess what? This wasn’t even her first slip-up on this trip!
On March 13, Hillary took a tumble in a bathtub, injuring her right wrist at the luxurious Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India. Interestingly, this hotel was named the Best Hotel in the World by TripAdvisor back in 2016. Initially, doctors thought it was just a sprain, but when the pain didn’t subside overnight, Hillary was off to the local hospital for further examination. A CT scan and an X-ray later, it was confirmed that Hillary had suffered a hairline fracture, as reported by The Times of India.

Hillary's India Adventure Takes an Unexpected Turn
This unfortunate mishap forced the 70-year-old to cancel her plans in Jodhpur, which included visiting the iconic Mehrangarh Fort and a trip to a nearby village to observe traditional carpet-weaving. Instead of sticking to her itinerary, Hillary took some much-needed rest before continuing her journey to Jaipur. Interestingly, this wasn’t her only stumble during the trip. Earlier in the visit, Hillary lost her balance while exploring the ancient city of Mandu. Footage from the event showed her slipping not once, but twice, as she descended a steep set of stairs. Realizing that shoes were the issue, she quickly kicked off her sandals and managed the descent with much more ease.
But folks, this isn’t the first time Hillary has had a run-in with gravity. Back in October, during her book tour in London, she managed to break her toe. As she recounted the story to British talk show host Graham Norton, she explained, “I was running down the stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand. I was talking over my shoulder, and my heel caught, causing me to fall backwards.”

Here's Hillary using crutches back in November 2017.
A History of Falls for the Former Secretary of State
When you add these recent incidents to her history of falls—like the one in 2011 while boarding a plane in Yemen and another in 2013 at her home in Washington DC that resulted in a mild concussion—you start to see a pattern of clumsiness. However, Hillary seems to be handling these setbacks with grace. On March 15, she was spotted smiling, cleverly hiding her injured wrist under a navy shawl. Here's hoping for a swift recovery for this resilient politician!
