Hey there, friends! Today, we’re celebrating a true icon who paved the way for superheroines everywhere. You might know Gal Gadot as the modern-day Wonder Woman, but long before her time, there was Lynda Carter—our original Diana Prince. From 1975 to 1979, Lynda lit up TV screens with her charisma, strength, and that unforgettable twirl into her iconic red, white, and blue leotard. Now, after decades of inspiring fans worldwide, she’s finally getting her moment in the spotlight with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

On April 3, 2018, Lynda Carter, now 66 years old, was honored with the 2,632nd star on the Walk of Fame. This incredible achievement places her among an elite group of Latinas recognized for their contributions to entertainment—Lynda's mother is Mexican, making this recognition even more meaningful. Adding to the excitement, Patty Jenkins, director of the blockbuster Wonder Woman (2017), joined the festivities as a guest speaker. By the late '70s, when the original Wonder Woman series wrapped up, Lynda had already begun exploring new avenues in her career.
