Listen up, friends! Chip and Joanna Gaines are bringing something special back to Waco, Texas, and it's got all the charm of their original Magnolia Market storefront with a fresh twist. Fans of the Fixer Upper duo know that the Gaines family has always had a knack for turning old ideas into gold. This time, they're reopening their beloved Little Shop on Bosque—but not as you remember it. Instead, it's transforming into a discount warehouse shop, where bargain hunters can find treasures at unbeatable prices.
Here's the scoop: "We’re re-opening our tried and true Little Shop on Bosque as a #MagnoliaWarehouseShop! It'll be open Thursdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting Thursday, March 22," Chip and Jo announced on their Magnolia Twitter account. "The shop will feature last-chance items and slightly imperfect products at a discount. You’ll find everything from discontinued home decor to gently used goods—all at a fraction of the price. Located at 3801 Bosque Blvd., this is one stop you won’t want to miss!"

A Journey Back to the Roots
Let me take you back to the beginning. Chip and Joanna first purchased the property way back in 2003. That little shop was the spark that ignited the Magnolia empire. As Jo shares on their website, "In that store, I developed and sharpened my design style and skills, grew as a business owner, and gained much-needed confidence in Magnolia and myself." It wasn’t just a store—it was a launching pad for their dreams. But life happens, right? After welcoming their first two children, Drake and Ella, the couple decided to close the shop temporarily. "We needed to focus on growing and raising our family," Jo explained. Now, as they prepare for their fifth child, they’re revisiting the roots of their journey.
Reopening the Doors in 2014
Fast forward to 2014, and the Gaines family decided to reopen the Little Shop on Bosque. By then, their HGTV show Fixer Upper had taken off, and their brand was gaining traction nationwide. But Jo admits it wasn’t just about business. "Something began tugging at my heart, and I started feeling a pull toward reopening Magnolia Market," she shared. "So, in May of 2014, we made the decision to bring the shop back to life. And let me tell you, it felt like coming home." Since then, the brand has grown into a full-blown design and construction empire, including the iconic Magnolia Market at the Silos.
Why a Discount Shop Now?
Now that Fixer Upper is wrapping up its successful run, Chip and Jo are exploring new avenues. Enter the Magnolia Warehouse Shop—a place where fans can find unique, slightly imperfect items at a steal. "We’ve recently outgrown our Little Shop on Bosque and moved into our new Magnolia Silos location downtown," Jo wrote on their website. But don’t worry—this doesn’t mean the original shop is gone for good. "The Magnolia Warehouse Shop will join its sister location, offering a different collection of products," they added on Twitter. "If you’re visiting, be sure to stop by both spots for the full experience!"

As Jo reflects on their journey, she acknowledges the incredible support from her fans and her husband. "This entire business idea was born completely out of a dream I didn’t know could ever come to life," she says. "It’s truly only because of a fiercely faithful, brave, and bold husband who pushed me to pursue my dream that it ever came to be." And here they are today, proving that dreams really do come true when you chase them with passion and determination.
