Love Story: From Dating to Walking Down the Aisle

This isn’t the first time Mike has expressed how blessed he feels to have Savannah in his life. The couple began dating in 2009, shortly after Savannah’s split from her first husband, Mark Orchard, whom she married in 2005. The pair’s love story took a major turn when Mike popped the question during a romantic getaway to Turks and Caicos in 2013. During an appearance on "Today," Mike admitted to being nervous about proposing but was thrilled when Savannah said yes. “I was very, very, very happy when she said yes,” he said. “I’m the luckiest guy in the world.”

A Beautiful Wedding and Growing Family

Savannah and Mike’s wedding was a fairytale come true, taking place just outside Savannah’s hometown of Tucson, AZ. The couple celebrated their love surrounded by family and friends, and it was during this time that they also announced the arrival of their first child, daughter Vale, who is now three years old. Their family grew even more in December 2016 with the birth of their son, Charley.

In a candid interview, Savannah opened up about the delicate balance between her demanding career and her role as a mother. Despite her hectic schedule, she makes it a priority to be present for her family. “I have terrible mom guilt. It is so real. I’m hardly ever away from my kids. I mean, hardly ever. I feel sick inside when I’m not with them — I really do feel almost physically ill,” she shared. Savannah’s dedication to her family is a testament to the love and commitment she shares with Mike.
