Ashton shared that during the early stages of parenthood, he wasn’t as involved as Mila. He explained that they both get up every morning, but the nighttime duties were a bit different. He mentioned, “In the middle of the night, we flipped it back and forth. Because she was breastfeeding the kids, she did way more than her share, I would say probably 80/20 because she could go and breastfeed them and put them back down when they were little. Now that they’re older, they don’t wake up at night, which is a relief.”

Before Mila gave birth to their son, a source close to the couple told Life & Style that they didn’t always see eye to eye on how many children they wanted.
