"She’s ready to fulfill her dream of adopting a baby boy," an insider recently told Life & Style. Hoda, who has become a beloved figure to millions, is not just a successful TV anchor but also a dedicated mom who’s eager to bring another child into her loving home.

At 53 years old, Hoda has already accomplished so much in her career, but her heart is set on growing her family. Despite her busy schedule following her promotion into Matt Lauer’s former Today seat, she’s diving headfirst into exploring her options. And guess what? Her boyfriend of four years, Joel Schiffman, is all in. "He thinks they made the best decision ever by adopting Haley," the insider shared. "Having a baby in the house has made them better people and a stronger couple. That’s why they added the name Joy. Hoda even jokes that she should add the middle name Joy to their son’s name, too!"

This isn’t the first time Hoda has opened up about her desire to expand her family—she’s been vocal about it since October 2017. "She’s working with the same licensed adoption agency as last time. Haley will be a year old soon, and Hoda’s hoping to bring home a new baby shortly after that," a source close to the Today star previously told Radar Online. Hoda’s not one to shy away from her dreams, and this one is clearly close to her heart.

Hoda and Joel: A Team Ready for Another Chapter

Hoda and Joel have been an incredible team in raising Haley, and now they’re both ready to welcome another little one into their home. "Haley is the light of both their lives, and Hoda would love for her to have a sibling," a close friend revealed. "Hoda’s a great reporter, but motherhood is definitely her calling. Hoda can’t believe how lucky she is to be a mom at this stage of her life. She’s saying being a mother is her number-one priority." People would say, ‘Oh, do you have kids?’ And I’d feel like, ‘Ouch.’ I knew inside it was supposed to be for me," she previously said. "I wake up sometimes and go, ‘Oh my God, I have a baby!’ But it feels totally real," Hoda gushed. "I guess if you’ve been waiting this long for something, and you wish for it, pray for it, hope for it, wonder if it will ever be, and then it happens, nothing’s more real. Nothing. It’s one of those things where you think you’ve done it all, you think you’ve felt it all. But I just didn’t know that this kind of love existed." Her words are nothing short of heartwarming.
