"She did the music for the opening and closing of my last TV movie," James revealed. "I’m easygoing, but I’m very opinionated. And she likes to control everything," he explained. Yet, these differences only strengthen their bond. "I’m laconic and never get anything done," James joked, "But she’ll zero in on one thing after the other, so that’s what makes ours a great marriage." "You can’t have perfection," Barbra says, adding, "Perfection is imperfection! When you love each other, you have to accept each other’s flaws as well as gifts." It's a philosophy that has clearly worked wonders for them. "My husband and I work on our marriage every day," Barbra explained, referring to their regular couples’ counseling sessions. "For the first time in my life, I’m not afraid to love," she says. "It’s a rare thing to find someone you really want to spend the rest of your life with, so we feel very grateful."
