That’s understandable, and I think most people would agree it was the right call. Reese and Oprah’s Extra Limbs
Twitter users were quick to notice that something wasn’t quite right with the cover. It turns out that Reese Witherspoon, who is 41 years young, seemed to have acquired a third leg. And if that wasn’t enough, Oprah Winfrey, at 63 years old and still going strong, somehow ended up with three hands. Now, I don’t know about you, but that’s a lot of limbs for two people!

Luckily, both stars took it in stride. Reese even joked about it on Twitter, saying, “Well… I guess everybody knows now… I have three legs. I hope you can still accept me for who I am. (And I will never apologize for snuggling @Oprah… if you get the opportunity, I highly recommend it!)” Oprah, being the queen that she is, replied with equal humor: “I accept your third leg, as I know you accept my third hand!”

Vanity Fair’s Response
Vanity Fair didn’t waste any time addressing the Photoshop mishaps. They tweeted, “While we would have loved the exclusive on [Reese’s] three legs, unfortunately, it’s just the lining of her dress.” And as for Oprah’s extra hand? “As for @Oprah, how can we expect her to juggle it all with just two hands? (We are correcting this error online).” Classic Vanity Fair humor, am I right?
