Hey there! Let’s dive into an exclusive chat with Malin Akerman, the stunning star of Billions. In a candid conversation with Closer Weekly, Malin dished about working alongside some of Hollywood's most iconic A-listers, including Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock, and Katherine Heigl. She also gave us a glimpse into her current connections with these legendary actors and more. Trust me, this is a must-read for any fan of her work or the film industry as a whole!
Remembering the Good Times on Set
Malin Akerman reminisced about her time working on The Proposal and 27 Dresses, two major films that brought her face-to-face with Hollywood royalty. "[The Proposal] feels like it was ages ago. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds were absolute delights to work with. They were fun, down-to-earth, and brought so much energy to the set," she recalled. "Though I only had a few scenes with them, it was unforgettable. The camaraderie was real, and we laughed our way through the shoot. But, you know, it was a long time ago—almost a decade now—and I only spent a couple of days on that project."

As for her relationship with her former co-stars, Malin shared how the fast-paced world of Hollywood can sometimes get in the way of maintaining connections. "It's been so long since I worked with those incredible people. Life in this industry is chaotic, and everyone’s always on the go. It’s not easy to keep in touch with everyone you’ve worked with," she explained. "I did cross paths with Katherine Heigl a few years ago, and it was such a joy to reconnect. But, you know, we all have our own circles now. It’s inevitable when you’re building a life, raising a family, and juggling a career. Still, it’s always great to bump into old co-stars at events or screenings. They’re like family, in a way."
Partnering with Ferrero for Kinder Joy
Malin also opened up about her latest venture, which sees her teaming up with Ferrero to introduce Kinder Joy to the U.S. market. "Kinder has been a part of my life since I was little," she gushed. "My first Kinder treat was a magical moment—probably around five or six years old. My grandpa gave it to me, and it was like opening a little treasure box. You got a toy and a chocolate treat all in one. How cool is that?"
"When Ferrero approached me about collaborating, I was thrilled. Not only do I get to share something I grew up loving, but now I can introduce my son to it too. It’s exciting to be part of bringing Kinder Joy to the U.S. market, where it’s already made such an impact worldwide," she added with a smile.
