Hold on to your hearts, folks! This story is about as cute as it gets. On a chilly Thursday, November 30, while visiting Helsinki, Finland, Prince William, now 35, did something truly adorable. He personally handed over his four-year-old son, Prince George's, handwritten Christmas wish list to none other than Santa Claus himself. During this royal outing, Prince William spotted Santa—known as "Father Christmas" across Europe—and couldn’t resist delivering little George’s heartfelt request. “I’ve seen you, and I had to give you this letter,” William told Santa, according to People. William added with a chuckle, “My son hasn't filled the page with countless requests, so I think one wish is perfectly fine.” The proud father of two also confirmed that his boy has been on the "nice" list this year, not the "naughty" one! While George didn’t ask for any new Lego sets for Christmas, William recently revealed that these construction toys remain George’s absolute favorite. There's been no official word yet on what his little sister, Princess Charlotte, wants from Santa Claus, but we do know the two-year-old has a soft spot for teddy bears!
William’s heartwarming chat with Santa isn’t the first time he and his wife, Kate Middleton, have shared delightful insights into their kids' interests. During another recent royal event, William confessed that George has a thing for The Lion King. “We’ve watched that a few times,” he said. It seems the young prince is following in his dad’s footsteps, as William himself has spoken fondly of the animated classic. Beyond that, we know George’s favorite TV show is Fireman Sam, while Charlotte is a huge fan of Peppa Pig.

While William, Kate, George, and Charlotte are set to enjoy this Christmas as a family of four, there’s even more joy on the horizon. In early September, the couple announced they’re expecting their third child, set to arrive in April 2018. George and Charlotte are already over the moon about their new sibling. “They rub their mum’s tummy and talk to the new baby,” a family friend revealed. “George and Charlotte really are both lovely, normal kids.”
