Leaving a show that has been such a big part of your life is never easy, but Sandra Oh found comfort in the way her character, Cristina Yang, said goodbye. “The one line that resonated most with me was when Cristina says, ‘You and I, Mer, we’re not finished,’” Sandra recalled. “At the wrap party, they played the iconic scene where Cristina asks Meredith to be her person. It was a powerful moment, and from that scene to the point where Cristina says, ‘You and I are not finished,’ it felt like flipping the same coin. Their bond is that strong. I felt truly fulfilled knowing Cristina’s farewell to Meredith was so meaningful.”

When asked how she felt about leaving her Grey’s Anatomy family behind, Sandra admitted, “It’s hard to even think about it right now because there’s still so much work to finish.
