Hey there, fans of The Talk! You’re in for a treat! Starting this week, viewers will see a brand-new face lighting up the screen every weekday. On Tuesday, November 14, the show announced that none other than Grammy-winning artist Eve is joining the team as a full-time co-host. We’re buzzing with excitement over this news! Eve will be sitting down with Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, and Sheryl Underwood, bringing her unique energy and perspective to the mix. If her guest appearances over the past few weeks are any indication, she’s already a perfect fit!
Why Eve? Let’s Hear It from the Bosses
Angelica McDaniel, the Executive Vice President of Daytime Programs at CBS Entertainment, had this to say about the new addition: “We’re beyond excited to have Eve join the crew. She brings a vibrant and fresh outlook to our already diverse group of hosts.” McDaniel went on to emphasize that the magic of The Talk lies in the genuine camaraderie and chemistry between the hosts. “Eve is not only a highly accomplished performer and musician but also a wife and stepmother, which adds a whole new layer to the show’s dynamic. Her presence will help us keep evolving season after season, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on board.”

Who Is Eve, Anyway?
For those who might not know her yet, Eve is a multi-talented powerhouse. She’s best known for her music, with hits like “What Ya Want,” “Gangsta Lovin’,” and “Let Me Blow Ya Mind.” But her talents don’t stop there! She’s also graced the big screen in the Barbershop films and starred in her own TV show, Eve. Since 2014, she’s been happily married to Maximillion Cooper and serves as a stepmom to his four kids. Her life experience and diverse background make her the perfect addition to the Talk table.
Aisha Tyler's Departure: Making Room for Change
This announcement comes just a few months after Aisha Tyler revealed she wouldn’t be returning for Season 8. In June, Aisha shared her heartfelt decision with fans, saying, “I’ve always wanted to be a director, but how can I balance my love for this show with the time it takes to direct a film? It just wasn’t feasible to do both. Making this choice was one of the hardest decisions of my life. You guys are family to me, and I love being with you every day. But at the end of this season, I’ll be stepping away from the show.” We can’t wait to see how Eve steps into this new role and brings her own flair to the table!
