When asked about her marriage to Robert, Judith couldn’t help but gush. “It’s been the best,” she told People magazine in a candid interview. “I highly recommend it. You know, he loves California—it’s his home—and I would never ask him to leave there. And he would never ask me to leave New York City. We’ve made it work because we respect each other’s passions and space.”

While living in separate states may seem unconventional, Judith insists it’s the perfect setup for them. But when I’m done, I come back to New York, and he flies in to see me. It’s like we’re always on each other’s team,” she elaborated. This ebb and flow allow them to recharge individually while still maintaining a deep connection. “It’s not about being together all the time—it’s about being there for each other when it matters most.”

How It All Began

Judith and Robert first crossed paths on the set of One Life to Live, where their chemistry sparked both on-screen and off. Interestingly, it was Robert who encouraged Judith to take the leap and relocate to California for her career. “At first, I was hesitant. I grew up in New Jersey, and New York City is my dream. I didn’t think I could leave the rain, the snow, the hustle and bustle. But Robert believed in me, and he convinced me to give it a shot,” she recalled with a smile. And while Judith still cherishes her roots in NYC, she admits that California has become an integral part of her life, thanks to Robert’s unwavering support.

Intimacy Through Distance

Despite the miles between them, Judith says their relationship has only grown stronger over the years. “There’s a different kind of intimacy that develops when you give each other space. We’re not just roommates—we’re partners who genuinely respect and admire one another,” she noted.
