Let’s face it, folks, Prince William has officially cemented his status as the ultimate big brother. When Prince Harry’s older sibling was recently asked the burning question on everyone’s mind—when will Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot?—William handled it with grace, humor, and a touch of diplomacy that only a royal could pull off. This is the kind of sibling support we all wish for, right?
During one of his latest royal outings, the Duke of Cambridge, 35, encountered a brave soul who dared to ask about his younger brother’s wedding plans. According to Paul Wright, the second in line to the throne responded in the most charming way possible. “He just laughed—a really nice laugh,” Wright recalled with admiration. While the world may have to wait a little longer for updates on Harry and Meghan’s romance, William did share some adorable family news. Prince George, his eldest child, has apparently inherited the universal child's opinion about school: he's over it!

Prince William's Heartwarming Encounter with Fellow Parents
While dropping off Prince George at Thomas’s Battersea school, Kate Middleton’s husband had a delightful chat with another parent, Louise Smith, who is also a mom of two. “It was such an exciting experience meeting William,” she beamed. “He mentioned that Prince George wasn’t thrilled about going to school that day. It’s funny because my kids feel the same way sometimes.” These moments remind us that even royalty faces the same everyday challenges as the rest of us.
Prince Harry Shines at the Invictus Games Amidst Engagement Speculation
Meanwhile, across the pond at High Park in Toronto, Prince Harry was all smiles and energy as he prepared for another day of the beloved Invictus Games. The day prior, the 33-year-old made headlines by stepping out publicly with his girlfriend, Meghan Markle. The 36-year-old actress, wearing a fittingly named "The Husband’s Shirt," couldn’t hide her joy as she and Harry took their relationship public. Despite the buzz about a potential engagement, Harry ensured the focus remained where it belonged—on the incredible athletes competing.
At the cycling event, Harry was in his element, cheering on former servicemen and women with all his heart. “You’re all amazing. This is what it’s all about,” he told the cyclists enthusiastically. “The atmosphere has been incredible all week. Everyone here is genuinely excited for you.” The athletes’ determination in 80-degree heat left him in awe. “Four miles, uphill and down? I don’t think I could handle that,” he admitted with a laugh.

Harry's Heartfelt Connections with the Athletes
Harry, who isn’t a fan of selfies, found himself chatting with Jamie Weller, a partially blind veteran and former Royal Navy aircraft engineer. Jamie, using his phone, was preparing to ride a stationary bike. Deciding that a happy snap was in order, Harry quickly staged an impromptu photoshoot. He also reconnected with old friends from previous Invictus Games, including Technical Sergeant Lara Mastel. Lara, who has undergone 15 surgeries for stage three breast cancer and is now in remission, received a warm hug from the Prince.
Talking to the BBC, Harry explained the profound impact of the Invictus Games. “When the Invictus Games come around once a year, it’s my fix just as much as it is for everyone else. Being here with all the competitors, friends, and families, meeting new faces and seeing some of the old ones—it’s truly amazing,” he said.
