A Moment of Awkwardness on 'Dancing With the Stars'
Hey there, friends. Let me tell you a story about a slightly uncomfortable moment that happened during the Monday, Nov. 6 episode of Dancing With the Stars. Host Tom Bergeron made a comment that left everyone a little uneasy. It all went down after pro dancer Witney Carson and her partner Frankie Muniz delivered a stunning Viennese Waltz performance. As the judges critiqued their dance, Carrie Ann Inaba praised the pair, saying it was the closest thing to perfection she'd seen. She added, "Witney, you're so exquisite when you dance, it's just so clean. I look for mistakes, but I don’t see them—except for when you almost lost control of her there."
Tom, always eager to add his two cents, chimed in with, "I’m guessing he’s not the first guy who’s lost control of Witney." The audience let out audible gasps, clearly taken aback by the emcee's comment. It was one of those moments where you could feel the tension in the room. But Witney, being the pro that she is, handled it with grace. She addressed the moment after the show, saying she didn't really get it at first but decided to brush it off. "Thanks for whatever that was," she said, according to People. "But I’m just going to let it slide, and I hope you guys do too."

Frankie’s Take on the Situation
Frankie Muniz, Witney’s partner, also had some thoughts on the comment. He joked that it seemed like "Make Witney Uncomfortable Day." But hey, let's not let one awkward moment overshadow the incredible performances. Witney and Frankie received a score of 26/30 for their Viennese Waltz and a 27/30 for their fun trio Jazz performance with guest dancer Alfonso Ribeiro. Alfonso, a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star, previously won the Mirror Ball Trophy with Witney in Season 19 of Dancing With the Stars. It was heartwarming to see them back on the dance floor together.
Special Trio Dances During the Quarterfinals
Week 8 of the DWTS quarterfinals was packed with special trio dances. Witney and Frankie weren’t the only ones to shine. NFL player Terrell Owens and his partner Cheryl Burke performed a Rumba with Season 1 winner Kelly Monaco. Property Brothers star Drew Scott and pro Emma Slater danced a Cha-Cha with Season 24 champion Rashad Jennings. Olympian Victoria Arlen and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy danced a Jive with Season 23 winner Laurie Hernandez. Violinist Lindsey Stirling and pro Mark Ballas performed a Jazz number with Season 6 winner Kristi Yamaguchi. And actor Jordan Fisher and his partner Lindsey Arnold danced a Salsa with Season 17 runner-up Corbin Bleu. It was a night filled with incredible talent and nostalgia.
