Tracy Morgan’s Struggles and Triumphs
It hasn’t been an easy road for Tracy. He’s been through the darkest of times, relying heavily on the love and support of his wife, Megan Wollover. After the accident, Tracy revealed in a candid moment with Rolling Stone that he battled severe depression and even considered ending his life. “I was sitting right here, thinking about it. I couldn’t walk, I was in so much pain. But then I thought, ‘It’s gonna take more than just a truck to take me out.’ I have responsibilities. I have to be there for my daughter, my wife, my family,” Tracy explained, his voice steady with resolve.

Let’s take a moment to remember what happened that fateful day in June 2014. Tracy suffered a broken leg, nose, ribs, and a traumatic brain injury when a Walmart truck collided with the limo van he was traveling in on the New Jersey Turnpike. His dear friend, James McNair, tragically lost his life in the accident. Tracy spent 10 days in the ICU and underwent extensive rehabilitation to regain his strength and mobility. It was a grueling process, but Tracy never gave up.

Tracy’s new show is thriving, and he’s found joy in being a devoted husband and father. “I’m grateful for every moment now,” Tracy said with a smile. “I’m focused on making the most of what I have, and I’m doing it with love and purpose.”
