Chrissy Teigen’s Love for Meghan Markle

And if you’re wondering whether Chrissy has a favorite royal, well, the answer is crystal clear. During an interview with Daily Mail on November 17, the Lip Sync Battle host couldn’t stop gushing about Meghan Markle. Chrissy even revealed that she’s been a fan of the Duchess for years, especially after their time together on Deal or No Deal. Back then, Chrissy was already struck by Meghan’s charm and grace. "She’s especially a fan of Meghan," Chrissy shared, adding that Meghan was "lovely" when they worked together over a decade ago.
Fast forward to today, and Chrissy still has nothing but kind words for the former actress turned royal. "Now everyone asks me what she was like, and I say, 'Sorry, no dirt,'" Chrissy joked, before admitting, "She’s gorgeous." It’s clear that Chrissy’s admiration for Meghan runs deep, and she’s not afraid to let the world know it.
A Blast from the Past: Chrissy and Meghan on Deal or No Deal
This isn’t the first time Chrissy has opened up about her experience sharing the stage with Meghan. Back in 2014, the two reunited on DirecTV’s Beach Bowl, and Chrissy has been talking about Meghan ever since. In fact, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this year, Chrissy shared a hilarious story about her royal obsession. "I tell John [Legend] all the time: 'That could be me. I could be Princess Harry,'" Chrissy joked, proving that she’s just as captivated by the royals as the rest of us.

Standing Up for Meghan
While Chrissy and Meghan may only be connected through their past roles on Deal or No Deal, Chrissy hasn’t hesitated to defend the Duchess when necessary. Earlier this year, Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, made some controversial comments in an interview with The Mail on Sunday. He claimed that Meghan had been upset with him for predicting that she and Prince Harry would soon have a child. "But Meghan’s been saying that herself for the past six or seven years, talking about how much she wants a family," Thomas said. He even went on to express sadness about the possibility of missing out on his future grandchild’s life. "How tragic is that, to deprive a child of its grandfather because I said a few things critical of the royal family," he added.
