Is Bruce Springsteen’s Natural Glow All Natural?
Let’s face it—Bruce Springsteen is a rock star in every sense of the word. But as he continues to grace stages and screens, fans can’t help but wonder: has the legendary performer had a little help from plastic surgery to maintain his iconic look? To get to the bottom of this question, Closer Weekly reached out to some of the top plastic surgery experts in the business (none of whom have ever worked with Bruce) to find out if there’s any truth to the rumors. Spoiler alert: the answer might surprise you.
Turns out, the experts all agree that Bruce probably hasn’t had any major procedures done. That’s right—what you’re seeing is likely all natural. Dr. Andrew Miller, a renowned plastic surgeon, weighed in with his professional opinion. “If you take a close look at Bruce’s face, you don’t see any signs of plastic surgery. His forehead wrinkles are deeper, which rules out Botox. His eyelids and neck show signs of aging, so there’s no evidence of an eyelid or neck lift,” Dr. Miller explained. “His face is thinner now, which suggests he’s not using fillers. The only thing I might consider is a small hair transplant—just enough to keep his frontal hairline looking sharp.”

What the Experts Say About Bruce’s Face
Dr. Adam H. Hamawy chimed in, offering his perspective. “After a thorough examination of Bruce Springsteen’s face, I don’t see any obvious signs of recent plastic surgery. But if I were to suggest anything, there’s a whole list of procedures I would recommend,” he said. Similarly, Dr. Vartan Mardirossian echoed the sentiment. “I don’t believe Bruce has had anything done. He could benefit from upper and lower blepharoplasty, along with some Botox, but based on what I see, it doesn’t look like he’s had any procedures at this point,” Dr. Mardirossian noted.
Beyond the Surface: Bruce’s Battle with Depression
While Bruce has never publicly addressed any plastic surgery procedures, he’s been open about his struggles with depression. In a candid interview with Vanity Fair in 2016, Bruce shared his battle with mental health. “I was crushed between 60 and 62, good for a year, and then down again from 63 to 64. Not a great track record,” he admitted. During that difficult period, Bruce feared he might end up like his father, who battled both mental health issues and alcoholism before passing away. “You never know the boundaries of the illness. Could I get sick enough that I become more like my father than I ever imagined?” Bruce pondered. Despite those challenges, it’s clear that Bruce is thriving today, both physically and mentally.
