"Even now, as we prepare for the baby boy, she plays with her baby dolls, feeding them with little bottles and giving them gentle pats on the back. Before Luna came into their lives, Chrissy and John were open about their infertility struggles, revealing that they went through IVF to conceive. Chrissy explained to Self magazine, "It’s kind of crazy because even though you do all this planning and preparation—taking progesterone, injecting your body, doing all the things—when I finally did get pregnant, I was like, 'Oh crap, are we ready?' It doesn’t matter whether you do all that preparation or whether it’s a surprise. You still wonder if you’re ready. But then you hear from enough people that you’re never really ready, and you just go for it."
