Competitive Twins on HGTV’s Brother vs. Brother
When Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott set out for San Francisco for the new season of HGTV’s Brother vs. Brother, it was clear they were both determined to win. “Jonathan got all decked out in a camouflage outfit complete with moss, and he hid on a hill to spy on me,” Drew revealed to Closer. This season, each twin leads a team in a home renovation battle, and the competition is fiercer than ever. The brothers have always been known for their creativity and resourcefulness, and this season is no different.
Drew wasn’t going to let Jonathan outdo him, though. He had his own tricks up his sleeve, including dressing up as a policeman and handing out a flurry of fake tickets to distract Jonathan’s team. “We all had to move our vehicles because of these fake tickets,” Jonathan laughed. “Drew even wore a fake mustache! We were like, ‘How does he have time to pull all this off?’”

These brothers are pros at juggling multiple responsibilities, as Drew proved by filming the show while simultaneously planning his destination wedding to Linda Phan, 33, in Italy. The wedding took place earlier this month, and Drew described the process as hands-on but not overly stressful. “We’re not bridezillas or groomzillas,” Drew reassured everyone before the wedding. “We’re just creative people who like to get things done. The most important thing for us was to spend quality time with family and friends.”
Drew and Linda’s weeklong celebration capped off an enchanting romance that started back in 2010. “I was always focused on my career, chasing my dreams,” Drew admitted. “Then, unexpectedly, I fell for someone, and now I’m the luckiest guy alive because I get to spend the rest of my life with Linda.”
Viewers Get to See the Wedding Magic
Viewers will get an inside look at the couple’s bachelor and bachelorette parties, as well as the wedding itself, when a special titled Drew and Linda Say I Do airs on TLC in June. By then, the brothers will be back home, managing their thriving product lines and various TV ventures. “We have a fantastic business relationship,” Jonathan noted. “We follow a ‘no nonsense’ policy. If something’s bothering us, we address it early so it doesn’t escalate.”

Family and Work-Life Balance
Even though Jonathan and the Scott family will join Drew and Linda in August for their “charity awareness” honeymoon to Ecuador, the brothers ensure they give each other space. “It’s not like Drew and I still live in bunk beds,” Jonathan joked. That’s a relief, as Drew and Linda are eager to start their own family.
“I’d love to have 16 kids,” Drew joked, before settling on a more realistic goal of three children. Fans shouldn’t worry, however, that a growing family will slow down Drew’s projects with Jonathan. “We’re passionate about inspiring people, and we love making our shows,” Drew said. “So, you’ll probably get sick of us. We’ll be around forever!”
