Fashion designer Victoria Beckham recently shared a delightful home video of her six-year-old daughter, Harper Beckham, on Instagram. In the clip, Harper is seen reading with an adorably posh accent that has her mom's fans absolutely enthralled. The heartwarming moment was captured at their family home in London, where Harper sits at the kitchen island and introduces herself in the sweetest way possible.
Here's how Harper's introduction went: "Hi, I’m Harper. I’m six, almost seven, and I love books, and my family, too, which is Cruz, Romeo, Brooklyn, mommy, and daddy." It's hard not to fall in love with her articulation and charm, isn't it? Her poised demeanor and confident delivery left many of her mom's followers swooning over her adorable accent.

Reactions Pour In From Fans
Victoria’s followers were quick to shower praise on the video, with many commenting on how well-spoken Harper is. One user gushed, “OMG, so precious and so well spoken!” Another fan joked, “I only want kids if they sound this posh.” Others chimed in with compliments about Harper's voice, with one saying, “She’s got a lovely sound to her voice, she’d make a brilliant voice-over actor.” It seems like Harper might just have a future in the entertainment industry!
Not the First Time Harper Has Stolen the Spotlight
This isn't the first time Victoria has shared glimpses of her only daughter on social media. In fact, she recently faced some backlash after revealing that Harper celebrated her sixth birthday at none other than Buckingham Palace. Victoria and her husband, David Beckham, documented the special occasion on Instagram, sharing photos of Harper surrounded by friends and even a real-life princess — Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, Princess Eugenie of York.

Addressing the Backlash
Of course, not everyone was thrilled about the Buckingham Palace bash. Some questioned how the Beckhams managed to secure such an exclusive venue. One commenter sarcastically remarked, “Is this a new commercial venture by the royal family or do all little princesses now get an invite?” Another chimed in, “If you have enough money, you can get anything!”
David Beckham was quick to clarify the situation, explaining that the family had been invited to the iconic location for a special tea party. “Just to be clear this wasn’t the palace opening the gates for Harper’s birthday party,” he wrote on Instagram. “This was a tea party where us and other guests were invited, so it was a beautiful thing to do with my mum, Harper, plus a few school friends… We were honored to be able to be there… Beautiful tea party.”
Royal Expert Weighs In
Royal expert Robert Jobson spoke to the Daily Mail, expressing surprise over the invitation. “It seems odd to me that if you have the money or connections, the palace — a building funded by the British taxpayer — can be used in this way for a selected few,” he said. “The palace is undergoing a huge renovation in the coming years at a cost of multi-millions to the British taxpayer. If this is a new policy to make money, it should be clear and open to everyone.”
Jobson continued, “If it is just for the rich and famous, it is simply not right. The palace is used by the Queen and members of the royal family to host receptions to promote the National interest, for diplomacy or to thank our sporting heroes, such as our great Olympians.”
Regardless of the debate, one thing is for sure — Harper had an unforgettable birthday, and that's what truly matters.
