Let's dive into the story of Priscilla Presley's life after her 1973 divorce from Elvis Presley, one of the most iconic figures in music history. For Priscilla, finding a home near her ex-husband was more than just a matter of convenience; it was about staying close to the family they shared. "Elvis stayed in the Holmby Hills home I found for us," Priscilla, now 72, reveals exclusively to Closer. "We were incredibly close, and ensuring his proximity to our daughter, Lisa Marie, was vital." The Italian-style villa she chose in Beverly Hills turned out to be a perfect sanctuary. "It’s secluded behind gates, offering privacy. This place has always been my refuge," she shares. Take a moment to watch the video above for a virtual tour of Priscilla's breathtaking house!
Forty-Five Years of Comfort and Evolution
Over the last 45 years, this Italian-style villa has been a constant in Priscilla's life as she navigated various roles—single mom, movie star, and eventually, executive producer of acclaimed projects like the HBO documentary Elvis Presley: The Searcher and the concert series The Wonder of You. To enhance her privacy and create a more personal space, Priscilla, with the help of her then-partner Marco Garibaldi, hired an Italian architect in 1992 to design a second floor. This addition included a library, two bedrooms, and a stunning Italian-tiled staircase, all aimed at giving the home a true European feel.

A Home Filled With Memories
This villa, with its five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and sprawling 7,000 square feet, is more than just a house—it's a repository of cherished memories. Priscilla shares the space with her son, Navarone Garibaldi (from her relationship with Marco), and her daughter, Lisa Marie. It’s adorned with antiques she purchased during her marriage to Elvis, a piano her grandchildren adore, and photographs of Elvis and Lisa Marie prominently displayed on the mantelpiece. Every corner tells a story of love and legacy.
Priscilla often retreats to her lush courtyard, lit softly by candles, where she enjoys quiet moments by the fireplace. "When my family gathered here, there was such warmth. That's why I inscribed 'Villa Nostra' above the fireplace, which means 'Our Home' in Italian," she explains with a chuckle, "but it’s definitely not 'Cosa Nostra'—that’s the Mafia!"
