Let’s talk about something truly magical. On Monday, April 23, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, welcomed her third child into the world—a baby boy! Now, here's the kicker: not only is this little prince’s birthday special, but it also happens to fall on St. George’s Day. For those who don’t know, St. George’s Day is a major holiday in England, celebrating the country’s patron saint. Talk about perfect timing, right? And if that’s not enough to make your heart melt, the little prince’s big brother is named George, which makes it all the more adorable.
A Perfect Royal Announcement
The official word came from Buckingham Palace, and it was as elegant and joyful as you’d expect. Here’s what they said: “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.” The announcement also mentioned that Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, and other family members were all thrilled with the news. Now, the only thing left is the big reveal of the baby’s name. Fans are on the edge of their seats waiting for that one!
