Let’s face it, folks, this has been quite a week for Kate Middleton, the soon-to-be mom of three! Just a couple of days after her previous appearance, she stepped out again, glowing and radiant, to officially open the brand-new London headquarters of Place2Be, a children’s mental health charity close to her heart. Kate, who’s just weeks away from welcoming her third child, was as cheerful as ever, engaging in a meaningful discussion with mental health professionals and school leaders. During her visit, she also connected with staff and students from Albion Primary School in Rotherhithe, London, where Place2Be has been offering mental health support to students, families, and educators for over a decade. This wasn’t just a routine royal appearance; it was a heartfelt gesture from a woman who truly cares about the well-being of children.
Kate’s Stylish Maternity Look
Now, let’s talk about that outfit! While visiting Albion Primary School, Kate, a long-time patron of Place2Be, dazzled in a stunning blue lace maternity dress from Séraphine. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen her in this particular frock—it’s become a bit of a wardrobe staple for her during this pregnancy. Featuring bell cuffs and an empire waist, the dress has a timeless elegance that perfectly complements her growing baby bump. Kate previously donned this same dress for a luncheon with Norway’s King Harald and Queen Sonja during her recent royal tour with husband Prince William. What’s even cuter? During her visit, Kate watched as kids colored inside the outline of a paper hand. She then playfully suggested taking one of the coloring sheets home to do with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. How’s that for a mom-to-be moment?

A Royal Blue Trend
There’s no denying that Kate has embraced the color blue during this pregnancy. From her first lacy Temperley dress back in October to the gown she wore at the Royal Variety Performance in December, blue has been her go-to shade. Now, some royal watchers are speculating that this could be a hint about the gender of her baby. But let’s not jump to conclusions just yet. While it’s fun to guess, Kate and William have kept mum about most of the details surrounding their third child, only confirming that the new addition is expected to arrive sometime in April. However, according to a recent report by The Sun, there’s a chance the baby could make a patriotic entrance on St. George’s Day, celebrated on April 23. Wouldn’t that be something?
Speculation Surrounding the Due Date
Reports suggest that the royal couple may welcome their little one “on or around” St. George’s Day. While due dates aren’t always exact, an insider told The Sun, “It would be a lovely patriotic coincidence if the baby were born then.” But if Kate follows her pattern of being a bit late, like she was with Prince George, the baby might even arrive as a special wedding anniversary gift to William on April 29. Regardless of the exact date, we can all agree that the world is eagerly waiting for this royal arrival.
For those who remember Kate’s previous pregnancies, it seems that history might be repeating itself. According to The Sun, Kate and William have decided not to find out the gender of their baby, just as they did with George and Charlotte. Additionally, it’s rumored that Kate will give birth at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London, the same place where her other two children were born. We can hardly contain our excitement for this next chapter in the royal family’s story!
