I’ve never seen a child so traumatized," she said. "How would you feel if a dog bit your face? She was only five." The emotional toll on young Charlotte was immense, and therapy became necessary.

At the time of the alleged incident, Elton and David were reportedly out of the country in Los Angeles. Despite this, Kieran feels it’s unacceptable that neither of them has personally reached out to offer an apology or even check on Charlotte's wellbeing. "This is about everyday human decency and values and ethics," she explained. "And when it comes to the crunch, this is about a child." Kieran’s frustration stems from what she perceives as a lack of empathy and concern from the couple.

Elton and David's Response
In response to these claims, a spokesperson for Elton and David offered a different narrative. They stated that when the incident was reported two years ago, it was described as a minor nip on the nose by their spaniel, which had been startled by Charlotte. The spokesperson added that three attempts were made to check on Charlotte’s wellbeing, both with her mother and her nanny, and each time they confirmed that Charlotte was fine.
