Let’s take a stroll down memory lane to celebrate the incredible journey of Prince William and Kate Middleton. It’s hard to believe it’s been seven years since these two lovebirds tied the knot. On Sunday, April 29, the world rejoiced with the royal couple as they marked this special milestone. Kensington Palace didn’t miss a beat, sharing a heartwarming photo of the pair on Twitter to commemorate their wedding anniversary.
“Seven years ago today — thank you for all the lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding anniversary!” the Palace wrote alongside a snapshot of the newlyweds driving off in a car with the playful license plate “Just Wed.” The image also captured the joyful scene with balloons trailing behind, symbolizing the start of their beautiful life together. You’ve got to admit, it’s moments like these that remind us all what love truly looks like, right?

How Did College Sweethearts Prince William and Kate Middleton Find Love?
Back in the day, before they became the power couple we all adore, William and Kate were just two students navigating life at St. Andrew's University in Scotland. They resided in separate quarters of St. Salvador’s Hall, a co-ed residence hall. In a 2010 interview with The Telegraph, Kate admitted that their first meeting left her blushing and feeling shy. She recounted, “I went bright red and scuttled off, feeling very shy.”

On the other hand, William, in the same interview with The Telegraph, confessed that he was smitten with Kate right from the start. “We just spent more time together, we had a good giggle and realized we shared some interests,” he reminisced about their early days of dating. “She has a normal sense of humor which is really good for me because I’ve got a dead sense of humor, and things just happened.” Isn’t it amazing how love can blossom in the most unexpected places?
Fast forward to today, and it’s clear that things couldn’t be better for this royal couple. They’re not just a picture-perfect duo; they’re also parents to three adorable children—Prince George, 4, Princess Charlotte, 2, and Prince Louis, who was born on April 23. Their royal family is as charming and endearing as ever. You can’t help but wonder if their love story could get any cuter!

What Did Prince William Study in College?
It’s been over a decade since Prince William graduated from university, but many still wonder about his academic pursuits. After all, while he’s dedicated much of his life to serving in the British military and focusing on charitable causes, his time at St. Andrew’s laid the foundation for his future. In June 2005, William earned a Scottish master’s degree, which is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree, in geography. He spent four years honing his knowledge in this field. Interestingly, William has applied his education in real-world scenarios, such as his role as a helicopter pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance organization. Of course, we could argue that his greatest achievement was earning a degree in love, given how he met and eventually married Kate Middleton.
