John Stamos Can’t Wait To Enter Fatherhood!

Oh, man, you’ve got to see this! John Stamos just posted a throwback photo on Instagram that’s absolutely adorable. In the picture, he’s rocking a fake baby bump from the set of Full House, and let me tell you—it’s hilariously charming. Now, compare that to his wife Caitlin McHugh’s real baby bump, which is getting bigger by the day. The couple, who recently tied the knot, is about to welcome their first child together, and Caitlin’s due date is practically knocking on their door. Check out the video above to see John’s not-so-real baby bump for yourself!

John, who’s 54 years young, captioned the photo with this heartfelt message: “This is the longest nine months of my life! #cantwait 4 #fatherhood.” Back in December 2017, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together. And if you think John’s excited, just wait till you hear what he said in a previous interview. “I’ll be a fun dad. I’ve been practicing for a long time,” the Fuller House star joked. “I’ve done every schtick you can do with a baby on TV—all the bits and jokes and diaper gags. I’ll probably just do all that stuff.” With Caitlin, who’s 31, likely in the early stages of her third trimester, it’s safe to say the Stamos household is about to get a whole lot busier—and cuter!

Love Story: From Proposal to Marriage

John and Caitlin officially became husband and wife on February 3, 2018, after two years of dating. Their wedding was nothing short of magical, held at the Little Brown Church in Studio City, CA. Only about 50 guests were invited to witness the intimate ceremony, which made it feel even more special. According to E! News, the bride looked absolutely breathtaking in a princess-style gown with a tulle skirt, while John donned a classic black tuxedo. “They exchanged vows in front of family and close friends. It was a very touching ceremony,” a source told People. “There were tears, but mostly smiles. John and Caitlin looked incredibly happy.”

After saying “I do,” the newlyweds wasted no time diving into their honeymoon. Where did they go? None other than Disney World! If you think that’s adorable, wait till you hear about John’s elaborate proposal. Back in October 2017, he popped the question in the most Disney-like way possible—because, let’s face it, they’re both huge fans of the “happiest place on Earth.”

According to Life & Style, John went all out for the proposal. “First, he reached out to Disney to arrange it with them. Then came the rehearsals. There were several practice proposals, including one at a nearby empty studio,” a source revealed. “John also had two camera crews there to capture the magical moment because he knew Caitlin would love to watch it, and they could even show it to their children someday.” Talk about planning ahead!
