Remember how they say the road to success isn’t always smooth? Angie Everhart’s story is a perfect example of that. In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, Angie opens up about the early challenges she faced in her career. "When I first started modeling, my agent Eileen Ford literally slapped my hand and said, 'Redheads don’t sell,'" Angie recalls. But Angie wasn't one to take that lying down. "I looked her straight in the eye and said, 'Do you want to bet?' And with that, I walked out," she shares with a laugh. Angie's bold move paid off when she later graced the cover of Glamour, which became the best-selling issue of that year. "I sent the magazine to Eileen as a little joke, and she called me up to ask me back. But I said, 'Thank you kindly, but no.'"

Breaking Boundaries: Angie Everhart's Career as a Trailblazer
Angie Everhart didn’t just stop at modeling. She continued to defy expectations and carve her own path. "I had an incredible career as a model because I was essentially the first redhead to break through in a big way," Angie explains. But her ambitions didn’t end there. "They told me models can't act, but I wasn’t about to let that stop me. I was determined to break the mold," she says. And break it she did. Angie has since taken on more than 50 acting projects, proving that she’s not just a pretty face. "If I had taken 'no' for an answer early on, I wouldn’t be where I am today," Angie reflects. "I don’t believe in the word 'no.' I believe in myself and the incredible things I can achieve."
