Meanwhile, Kate's future sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, is also making waves by planning to give a speech at her upcoming wedding to Prince Harry. “This would be a first in royal wedding history,” a source noted, adding, “Harry thought it was an absolutely wonderful idea.”

Kate and Meghan: A Budding Friendship Amid Royal Duties
Reports suggest that Kate and Meghan, both 36, have already formed a strong friendship following Prince Harry's proposal last November. “Kate is genuinely excited to help Meghan navigate this new chapter,” a source from Kate's hometown of Bucklebury, England, told People. Before Kate married William, she underwent her own royal training, mentored by none other than Queen Elizabeth herself. “She met with the Queen frequently and learned what it takes to behave like a future Queen,” the source added.
Meghan, on the other hand, is receiving her own royal education—but her journey is different from Kate's. While Kate's role as a mother and future queen consort comes with certain responsibilities, Meghan's husband, Prince Harry, is sixth in line to the throne. This means her role will be slightly less intense, but no less significant. “Meghan is funny, serious, and extremely hardworking,” an insider shared. “I’m sure Kate will find a great friend and ally in her.”

According to royal biographer Ingrid Seward, Meghan brings a unique perspective to the royal family. “She’s far more worldly and sophisticated than Kate was when she first joined the family,” Seward told People. “Meghan worked in one of the toughest industries in the world and excelled.
